If a guy doesn’t do anything at all to gain your attention or favours, it’s either he’s not interested in you, or he’s simply too painfully shy like what Bored Dad has pointed out. But then, no matter how shy he is, he will still give some hints. If he’s being excessively anxious only when in the prsence of you and not others, then doesn’t this spell some suspicion?

Now it depends on how strong the lady’s antenna is to pick these signals up and to react accordingly to either give him the courage to move on, or to take the hint and bow out.

Yes indeed an interesting article from Kloudiia.

To answer Veron’s question, yes, I do tends to think even if the guy don’t show all these signs, it doesn’t mean that he does not like you. However, I would add that if the guy does like a girl and show no sign of interest nor keen to be with that girl, and still like ‘heck care’ or ‘can’t be bothered’ type of attitude, then I’m afraid that even if the guy does like the girl, but chances are that the girl will eventually get turn off and will not want to get into any relationship with such a ‘MCP’ guy.

Even a shy guy that likes a girl, will still show some signs and hints that a girl can pick up. One that doesn’t show? It’s likely that he is suffering from a ‘emotional handicapped’ or emotional shutdown, or he is a true ‘MCP’.

Haha what an entertaining and informative piece! Many of these signs are pretty obvious but it sure is useful to have a list of things to look out for. Makes things much clearer. Good job, girl!

So, my question is, would the contrapositive be true? If he doesn’t buy you gifts, nor ask for follow-up dates before this date is over, nor do you any favors, does it necessarily mean he doesn’t like you?
