Seriously, where are the ladies?  

I’m referring to the line-up of speakers for the Charity Telethon 2007 that is coming up on Sept 13 2007.

If you notice, there is only one rose among the thorns. Last heard Stuart may be getting another one on board. If it’s any of a bonus, she’s an attractive lady who is very successful in Singapore. I know, you can’t see her face over the phone, but wait! You’ll get to see her photo on the site!

I remembered when Stuart was planning for this event, I’ve “hinted” to him about the lack of female speakers on not just one occasion. It then somewhat became a mini battle of the sexes between us.

No worries, there are no injuries but plenty of laughter and teasing.

Well, perhaps he has a better affinity with men (am I supposed to count my blessing? hmm… ), or maybe there really isn’t too many female candidates he can include in this event, ladies whom he knows and knows pretty well. Ha!

Come to think of it, isn’t this a common issue of “debate” too? 

There are a few, in fact quite many speakers that I’m looking forward to hearing. I’ll be tuning in at that time, and besides blogging here, I’ll probably leave comments and participate with the group on the charity’s blog too!

Now, if there aren’t enough female speakers to balance out the gender ratio, how about let’s have more female bloggers, callers, donaters to make our stands a loud and clear one that we are, also, for charity!
