What used to be the rage now has ebbed. Do you remember sending and receiving e-cards a few years ago? When festive seasons were nearing, I would get all sorts of greetings from friends and even business associates.

I haven’t been getting them nowadays, and have thrown them to the back of my head. Until one came through my mailbox from a friend.

As the genre for e-cards increase, it gives us more room to play around. Now you not only personalise your card with names and your special messages, you can even customise the design by changing the background, font colours and size, among other features.

If you are lacking some romance in your relationship, why not make use of these e-cards to give your loved one a quick surprise? Doesn’t cost you a penny,  but surely will bring a big smile to your partner’s face, and warmth to their heart.

I love receiving cards, whether they are electronic versions or not. Mostly because I enjoy soaking in the sweetness of the wishes in it, hand-written ones I mean, not so much of those pre-printed by the manufacturers.

Cannot not practise what I preach. So I’m going to send him an e-card now! Hmm…. a warm hug should be good, considering the long and cold rainy days now..
