Love Poll: Do You Celebrate Valentine’s Day?
As we get more modernised, there’s no way to avoid being more commercialised as well. Both seems to happen simulataneously. It’s like you can’t do without excessive inflation (in the initial period) when a country’s economy is experiencing exponential growth.
So when it comes to the matters of the heart, merchants wont’t let go of any chance to provide more spaces and rooms for our love birds to declare their undying love for each other, and to have a ultra super romantic celebration on 14 February - in order to make that day memorable, so they claim.
Has Valentine’s Day become too commercialised that it has lost it’s original meaning? To leave a day where we can express our gratitude, appreciation and love for our loved ones? Or do you still uphold this day as the epitome of romance and love, and will celebrate to continue the tradition?
Let me know what your thoughts and intentions are by participating in my latest poll. I really want to know if those voices that I hear lately about not celebrating Valentine’s Day are that of the masses, or they only echo a handful of our population here.
Thanks for your vote! Every one counts for the statistics, you know?
