Leap Year Bonus 4: My Wedding Photos!
I am a Ted Wu bride! And Stuart is a Ted Wu groom.
Finally, we found some time to look through the photos and selected some for your viewing pleasure.
I really love Ted’s design for my gown and Stuart’s suit. I’ve always wanted something more unique and fortunately, I already knew what look and feel I’m going after. So after we communicated with Ted, he came up with 3 designs for day and 3 for evening for us to choose.
What is great about Ted Wu’s gowns? Firstly, the workmanship is excellent. The embriodery is so fine and exquisite. All it took were 3 fittings for me to wear the gown with ease and elegance.
Secondly, they are very professional. Ted has a system in place, and that means we don’t have to waste our time in waiting for our turn.
Thirdly, Ted is friendly to boot! No doubt a designer, but he is patient enough to explain why certain things look ok and understanding enough to accomodate some changes that I’d like to have to the gown. He kept telling me to relax and don’t be so uptight on my actual day haha! Hmm, you see, my perfectionist gene was at work again.
Ted, thank you lots for making me and Stuart the gown and suit that we have always wanted!
Of course, the entire image you see on my actual day wasn’t the sole credit of Ted. My hairstylist Addy Lee decided that I had to be a redhead to look stunning, my shoes were custom made by my friend Charles and my make-up artisit Liren Neo added that midas finishing touches to my face so that I looked that.
There were many hiccups on my wedding day, like the bride who was late for her own wedding (I swear, it’s really not my fault this time! Really!). Like they say, there will be no perfect weddings because situations will happen. Luckily I didn’t bear any great expectations to have a perfect wedding, but rather one that is meaningful, fun and most importantly, blessed.
Being able to be wed in a church has been my childhood dream (blame or credit it to those TV dramas!). So on 5 January 2008, as me and Stuart received the Sacrament of Marriage in front of Jesus Christ our Lord, that moment was truly “it“. We both felt so blessed.
There are many people to thank for allowing my wedding day to run smoothly, amidst all the “chaos”. In no merit of order, I’d like to thank my sister Grace, my maid-of-honour Joanne, Stuart’s bestman cum brother Leonard, all our lovely bridesmaids namely Dawn, Cheryl, Swen and Michelle, all our groomsmen Desmond, Alvin, Perry and Ryan. The little ones are Eugene the ring bearer, Chris the page boy and finally Erina the flower girl. The church choir. The lector Matthew. The church MC Humi.
Apelles and Jeff for performing some songs during lunch.
Though not in the entourage, but there are also many who were part of the people behind the scenes. They are Travis and Pauline, Daniel and Deborah and Wein.
Thank you all of you! WE LOVE YOU!
Last but not least, enjoy the photos! I’ve decided to upload them in Facebook as it seems to be the fastest and easiest way to do it.
But here’s one which I really love…

 (You may kiss the bride…)

Enjoy!
