Wooh, it’s Valentine’s Day again! Special occasions are like bookmarks, where they will act as reminders for us how time flies and what we did, or didn’t do last year.

Having survived V Day (with and without partners), I hope I’m able to complete this list of 13 gifts that I have received till this day.

 13 Valentine’s Day Gifts I Have Received

1. Flowers. The reason why I didn’t put down “Roses” instead is because I received more variety than just the different colours of roses. Now that I write this, I kinda miss the feeling of getting an unexpected surprise when the delivery man comes knocking at your desk and present a bouquet to you. Aww… (but I’d rather not get these hyped up pricey petals now…)

2. Hand made cards. Yes, and I gave them too! Guess who made and gave them to me? My best friends. All girls. Er-hem. Don’t start haviny funny ideas now. We did them when we were in our secondary school, and don’t you get all nice and close with your best gal friends that you have to do something to celebrate this day with them?

3. Pendant. Of a precious stone. I still wear it occasionally now, depending on the outfit that I put on.  

4. CD. With a love note inside. Not bad huh?

5. Teddy bears! Furry pals are always endearing, don’t you agree?

6. Watches. I think they just wanted to remind me to be punctual on my dates. Ha!

7. Soft toys.The very first that came along was a pink rabbit.

8. Chicken Little. Yeah, the toy. Stuart gave it to me last year. It is soooo cuttee that each time I look at it, it makes me laugh. A real good stress reliever, I thought.

9. Bracelets. Somehow, people love giving me accessories. Seeing is believing I suppose.

10. Chocolates Whoever gave me this must think that I’m one of the girls who swear by these dark-looking bite-sized titbits. Well yes, only for those really dark ones… Yeah I’m on the dark side of things. 

11. Bags. I need to complete my entire accessory routine, right?

12. Diamond ring. This is from Stuart on our first Valentine’s Day haha
