It was truly amazing.

These guys have so much energy and the level of participation was so high that I enjoyed myself thoroughly, even though I was the speaker. I wished I could be sitting with them in the audience to feel the high atmosphere too.

I was referring to the event I attended last night. Held on a monthly basis, it was four hours of good food, fun games and excellent networking for singles and most importantly, great company. Though it was organised by SDU, all of the participants weren’t members.

For about an hour and a half, I spoke and shared with them some knowledge about dating, love and relationships. From the marvellous response I got, I believed a good number of them got the gist of what I wanted to convey, and I’m sure this bunch of positive people would take the steps to apply them in their lives and see some improvements immediately!

I guess for a speaker, the greatest satisfaction is to hear people coming up to you to say that they have benefitted from the talk. That was the only goal I had and which I focused in while preparing for the speech. So when they came up in small droves just to shake my hand and thank me for making the time to go down and do all those sharing, I felt really truly happy.

This kind of appreciation, though simple, is too precious and these are the nice and warm feelings that I will remember for a very long time.

Thank you all for giving me such a memorable time. I’ll be looking forward to a next time!
