Knowing how to effectively use those emoticons can really beef up your message in wondrous ways and make instant messaging and e-mailing much more fun and meaningful than without these cute and happy faces. It is like making up for the loss of tonality in all these messages.
Singapore’s popular TV celebrity Christopher Lee was arrested for drink driving on 8 Oct 2006. When I first knew of this, I was pretty shocked really. Maybe I’m a woman, hence my first consideration was – how would his girlfriend, another popular TV celebrity Fann Wong react to such shocking news?
Call me a skeptic, or unsympathetic. Whatever negative labels you feel like hurling me, I’m still going to say my piece over here.

This ties in with the previous two posts. Because you have to ask and seek, before you can arrive at the door in which you need to knock.
Knock and the door shall be opened. What if it doesn’t open? That means you could be knocking at the wrong door.
When you go after a girl, does it mean that she will definitely develop feelings for you? No, we all know that reality does not work this way. What shall you do then? Knock at another door!
Seek and you shall find.
When you are seeking, it means you have the intent to search for something that you truly want. Do you know the power of intent? When you have the intention to do something, you put out an intent. The intent that was being put out generates an energy which will bring you the ways and means to attract the object of your desire to you. It may not be a person. It can be an intent to cure yourself of bulimia, to earn the first million dollars or to become a vegetarian.
We know that leaders are proactive. They make things happen by creating something out of nothing. How do that do that? One of the way is by asking. They dare to ask for what they want, rather than sitting there hoping, praying and wishing that someone will just bring their prize to them.
Did I just get to know about this truth? No, in fact I knew it long ago. Did I practice? Yes I did, and I’m glad to say it has brought me so much more than I ever would have gotten had I just sat there and wait.
