This will be the last post I have for this year.
Nothing long-winded. Just a funny New Year’s Day greeting I got over sms. This gave me the idea to post all those funny greetings I’ve received for Christmas and New Year’s Day, but alas, I can’t find them anymore as my 02 Atom don’t read sms from the SIM card.
So there goes all my treasures which I’ve stored for so long
Anyway, I’ve got this one for you.
Happy New Year! It’s a bit early I know.

It takes sixty seconds to make up one minute. Another sixty minutes to make up an hour.
Imagine how many hours have passed before one year is over. That’s 8,760 hours my dear friends.
What have you done over these 8,760 hours? How many of these were spent on sleeping? Day dreaming? Working? Having fun? Accomplishing goals? Helping others? Contributing to the society? Loving others? Being loved? Exercising? Improving yourself?
I have done all of those in 2006. This has been a fruitful as well as frightening year for me. I’ve discovered many things about myself, some good some bad that needed to be improved.

It was a very long break for me. A straight whooping 2 weeks away from home and work most of the time, though I do my best to sneak in a post or two in between. But the recent Taiwan earthquake really cut me from most of the sites and I was literally internet-free!
Having worked my butts off for the previous two years without a holiday, this one seemed to be a good reward. Though I didn’t venture to too many places, but I’ve had enough rest and good food especially for this break.

In China, there are a few to-dos in various parts of the provinces. In Guangzhou, you eat. That’s how the saying “eat at Guangzhou” came about.
And it really is so! There is a wide variety of cuisines to select from and you get to taste the sweetest and freshest vegetables and seafood ever! I’m in a food paradise.
I’m no food connoisseur, but I love to eat. So this trip has truly tantalised my taste buds. I’m spoilt for choice! How nice is that, isn’t it?

It happened more than 10 years ago, when I was still in my secondary school.
Me and a group of friends from the same ECA (Extra-Curriculum Activity) were gathered together to prepare a photo album as a surprise gift for someone who had helped us tremendously on a project.
We stayed back in school till past midnight. Some of us sorted and selected all the photographs that we like to include in the album as the rest set out to do the art and crafts. It was 100% manual work. We didn’t buy a ready photo album. We bought a blank A4 size hardcover artbook and yes, with our innovation and creativity, created one from scratch.

Ho Ho Ho! First of all, I’d like to wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Maybe it’s the Magical Christmas Trees collection. Or maybe I’ve been intending to have a magical christmas this year in my subconscious mind. Whatever the reason may be, I sure had one of the most magical Christmas celebration in my life, smack right in the middle of Hong Kong Disneyland – the world where magic begins.

You could be just the one, if you grab this chance to download my very first eBook for you!
Yes, I’ve compiled my previous Secrets To Upping Your Attraction Quotient into this eBook. I’ve cleaned up all the posts and included some additional tips in the original 5 secrets (strictly speaking should be 6 as Part 1 consists of 2 secrets :p).
Of course, I’ve put in some pictures to make it more “reader-friendly” as well.
I really need to thank two ladies who made this possible. First is my sister and secondly is my best friend Amanda. They’ve volunteerd their services to help me look for those amazing photos plus format layout editing.
According to Dr Gray Chapman, there are The Five Love Languages for lovers to express their heartfelt commitment to their mates.
That’s a pretty universal standard we can apply, especially for a country like Singapore where we are greatly influenced by our friends from US, especially the relationship gurus.
Since this is A Tale Of Two Cities, what I’m going to share with you here is one more way of expressing your love to your family.
Are you ready?
Hang red lanterns.
Like these …

And this …

Take it as my journal for this holiday. Or use it as another means to gain a set of new perspective on love and life. I shall do my best to document what I learnt about people, relationships, love and life while I am on this trip.
Henceforth, I created this series A Tale Of Two Cities.
Part 1 begins right from here …
I’ve come to a different world where people here lead a lifestyle that varies from us.
