I had a few “aha” moments today. It was a really fruitful Saturday, considering all the upheavals and fire-fighting just the day before.
One of those moments came when I was in church earlier in the evening, for my weekly dismissal mass and our 2nd Scrutiny, one of the rituals in preparation for our baptism.
It is part of the routine in the mass to say a confession creed. Of all the times I said it, I didn’t feel anything at all. I was merely following the crowd, and you can say I was paying lip service, literally. While the mouth and the lips were spewing those words out, the mind and the heart felt nothing.
“I am looking for a female life partner with some common interests and learn to accept the different of each. We learn to share our view and life experiences. I am not intending to get marriage, no physical contact. My question is what is the possibility of finding such a soul mate? When shall I let her know about it and not leaving a sense of deceive and anger.” – DT
Hi DT
Is there any particular reason why you don’t want to get married?
You are keen to develop an intimate relationship, not physical intimacy but emotional, intellectual and maybe spiritual since you used the term ”soul mate”, aren’t you?

It all begins with a wish.
If you have a rich childhood, unlike mine, then you would have heard of this song Wish Upon A Star from Disneyland. Well, really, I haven’t heard this before until today. So I gathered the only reason is I have a deprived childhood.
I’m kidding. My childhood was filled with lots of activities and I had fun!
Wishes are so important don’t you agree? A wish allows us to dream like dreamers do. Only when you have dreams, you have a rich soul. That’s how I define it, you are welcome to see it from another perspective if you don’t like mine.
Have you ever stayed with someone under one roof, yet the number of words you have spoken with each other don’t tally up to half of what you would have typed on msn or chatted over Skype with someone who is as far as, US?
How about sleeping on the same bed with the same person for decades, yet can’t bring yourself telling this person your deepest secrets or your biggest fear?
What is the real distance between people?

The loneliness you feel when you are sitting beside someone close enough to hear his/her breathing, or the closeness you feel when the only consolation you have is the fact that you are both under the same sky?

I would like some advice. I am a married woman of 5 years. I recently had an affair with my husbands best friend. He is also married. He is also having an affair with one of my good friends. And of course my friend doesn’t know that I am betraying her as well. She thinks he is going to leave his wife to be with her. Do I come forward and spill everything to the friend and the husband?” – J

Ha ha, I wish.
But seriously, we’ve both chosen the same day to celebrate and commemorate another milestone in our lives!
For Stefanie it’s the launch of her latest Mandarin album (as per what I’ve heard over the radio yesterday). For Kloudiia (me
) it’s the launch of my first book – “The 69 Love Notes – Secrets To A Loving And Lasting Relationship”!
For my overseas readers, you may like to know that Stefanie Sun is the hottest and most popular singer from Singapore. Her fame has brought her thunderous cheers and claps from her ardent fans all over Asia, while her unique vocals and soulful renditions of her songs had given her accolades with the slew of prizes she’s gotten in various music awards.

I witnessed something nice, and sweet.
Not only was it the first Catholic church wedding I’ve attended, it was also a union of two people who came from different religion, culture and background.
The bride is a Catholic, Singaporean.
The groom is not a Catholic, Japanese.
The priest started the homily with this short statement “Love is a mystery”
Love is a mystery! You don’t know when it starts to work for you, and when will its arms stretch out and spread all over you like tentacles, wrapping you up in that sweet pink bubble.
“Are we over?”
You were probably asking yourself this question many times over before the verdict is out.
It is finally time.
You or your partner finally said it. “Let’s break”.
Ending a relationship is mostly painful, even if you are the initiator. There are a myriad of emotions that come with a break up, and to pick up the pieces and move on with your life, you need a certain amount of time and yes, healing is necessary.
Some breakups came as a shock, while some couples saw it coming way before the events materialised. Depending on how the break up was handled, dealing with the aftermath could be an easy or uphill task.

I am very confused on my relationship can you give me some advise? Do you believe in Love Fate? Can a relationship be lasted if my foreign wife being banned in Singapore?” - J
Dear J
I’m not sure what you are asking here. Are you asking for my opinion on Love and Fate or on your relationship with your foreign wife who is banned from Singapore?
I guess maybe you are linking the two together. You may have met your wife and fallen in love with her through a series of events, which leads you to believe that fate brought you two in union.

Retail therapy!
I used it with great success and satisfaction just now, which was really rare as I’m not exactly a fan to use money to “cure” unhappiness.
I was feeling pretty low today, due to some unforeseen circumstances, and decided to take a stroll after lunch, instead of heading to a cafe and start typing away as usual.
But I knew very well I wasn’t in the mood for any shopping. And history has it that when I’m in such a mood, tendency to “buy now regret later” is at an all-time high.
