LOVE, Kloudiia

I was hunting high and low for that white and green paper bag. I remembered very vividly that was the bag in which I had put some of my books inside, and left it in my boyfriend’s office.

So that evening I wanted to get two books, and I couldn’t find the bag at all.

I searched the entire office, mostly focusing on the floor, but still to no avail.

Heaving a big sign, I gave up.

It wasn’t until my boyfriend returned that I knew where my books were placed – nicely stacked up on his desk.

Hey..it’s really nice that you’re out there to help people with relationship problems.

Well…I’m currently a high school student. The problem I’m facing is that the guy I really like a lot falls in love with a younger girl at my school. He attends another school, and since I’m the only person he knows in my school, he’s asking me to help him with his relationship. But the truth is how can I do this to torture myself?

This was what me and my boyfriend said two days ago:

K: “You know, I told my sister I want to kill my boyfriend”

BF: “Why?”

K: “Because last Friday was Mystagogia, and we’re asked to explain why we chose our baptism name…”

BF: “Who is he?”

K: “Huh? It’s not he, it’s Mystagogia”

BF: ”Ya, who is he?”

K: (realised what is happening and chuckling) “It’s not anybody. It’s M-y-s-t-a-g-o-g-i-a, not M-i-s-t-e-r-a-g-o-g-i-a!” Muahahaha Gotcha!

BF: “Oh….”

I am really sincere about her.. Have been waiting for her for a year even though she went on with other guys.. Despite the fact she knew that I loved her.

That’s why I signed up for this program Agloco. Why do I want to participate in this program? Because

What’s In A Name? 

What’s in a name? William Shakespeare’s reply would be:

That which we call a rose by any name would smell as sweet.

Sure, a rose by any other name will still smell as sweet, and will still carry thorns. It will be the flower representing love and passion, and it will still look radiant when it is in full bloom.

So, coming back to this question. What’s in a name, actually?

Yesterday was a day of celebration of new births. I went to my friend’s first born’s first month celebration. Then followed by another celebration of the new round of RCIA in church.

One year ago, I was part of the 100+ strong group standing outside the church, waiting to be welcomed into the community to seek and know God.

One year later, I was sitting inside, welcoming an entire new batch, though half in number yet full in hope and faith.

As I witnessed them being presented their cross and a bible, and undergoing their Rite of Acceptance, I felt a wave of happiness.

A few days back, my girlfriend told me she wanted to break up, reason given was not acceptable for me. She just says that we’ve been through few arguments [which were justified squabbles] and she was disheartened and tired of relationship.

As of now, we’ve been together for 5 months. I guess the root of problem was we started too fast which I assumed caused these distress on both of us. I guess we were at fault,

ME,

I was not prepared to attend her family gatherings.

I was not financially stable and not confident whether I can settle down.

A stroll in the park in the morning works wonders! My harvest includes 4 mosquito bites, discovery of a tiny fruit orchard smack in the heart of a neighbourhood park, some tree species and the fresh, morning air which was filled with some rain molecules with the overcast sky.

Before falling asleep last night, I told myself if I’m able to rise early this morning, I shall go to the parks and get close to nature. So I set the alarm to go off at 7:30am.

(OMG! Is this early? I’m already in the jam-packed subway or bus on my way to school/work!)
