LOVE, Kloudiia

Yes people. I will be speaking at a seminar titled “Secrets to a Loving and Lasting Relationship” this coming Sunday, 10 June 2007 from 3pm – 4pm at Suntec City, Hall 404 for the expo Men 2007.

I’m really very, very exhilarated when I saw this email from a friend. Gave me such a big booster. Oh CS, thank you very much. I’d like to share such an excellent news with you, my friends.

Here’s how it goes…

“Hi Kloudiia,

I wouldn’t wait to write to you today!

I am in Sg and I was in Vivo City this evening and I went to a bookshop — Page One with only 1 purpose in mind. After couple minutes of pouring over the shelves, I decided to look for help. I went to the counter and approached a sales girl. The conversation goes like this -

F: “Hey Kloudiia, I think I saw you on Simply Her. Is that really you?”

K: “Oh you’ve seen the mag already! Yeah that’s me” I replied sheepishly…

F: “Ya I thought that is you. You don’t look like the one in the photo! But when I saw your name, I thought, I don’t have any friend with such a name besides you, so I think it must be you lar!”

K: “Yesh, that’s me…”

A brief conversation between me and a friend, or rather several friends who saw my exclusive feature on the latest June 2007 edition of Simply Her magazine.

“Hi Kloudiia,

I am 31 this yr and I got to know a guy recently. We have mutual likings for each other and we are a couple now. However, he confessed to me the second day (after we became a couple) that he did not tell me the truth about himself, eg. age, name, marital status. He told me that he was divorced two yrs ago and he has a son. He is also 10 yrs older than me. I was hurt when he told me this and he himself is very sorry as he was afraid to tell me initially. Do you think I can trust him again? I am at a loss now.” - J

My fellow friend and blogger had started this mini project of his, and am I glad that I can leave some footprints on his romantic wedding blog.

What’s even more romantic is the intention behind this blog – it’s actually his first gift for his new bride. How sweet and loving, aren’t they?

So what did I do? Or rather, what have I written?

Nothing much, just a very short (hopefully, sweet) post on 5 Tips to a Romantic and Happy Marriage for Newly-Weds. You can click on the link to read the contents. Very handy, and definitely can benefit not just newly-weds, but soon-to-bes.

What a totally unexpected long break from work the last week was. Totally unexpected as getting sick wasn’t part of my agenda. In fact, going for a short holiday to relax and recharge was at the top of my list then.

Well, things don’t always go according as planned. 

Still in my recovering stage (yeah, I do need a pretty long time to fully recover from a cough due to my history), I thought why not have a short blog.

Thanks to all who left your well-wishes in my blog. Due to my long absence, even the keypad feels soft to the touch! Goodness gracious! (Gosh! I’m beginning to sound like our parish priest!!!)
