Wishes For The Year Of Ox

Dear friends and readers of this blog, I’d like to wish you all a blessed, joyful, peacful and fruitful Year of the Ox!

May friends who are single find the love of their lives this year;
May friends who are dating find walk down the aisle of love to declare their vows of love and commitment;
May friends who are married find their love grow deeper and relationship getting more loving and fulfilling.

GONG XI FA CAI! :)

Red Is The New Black

Lunar New Year is coming! Are your new clothes hanging in your closet ready to be displayed on the first day of CNY? Now let me guess – if you’re in your teens, then you’re probably going to be dressed in colours like black, white or maybe even blue or turqoise, since it’s still in the trend now. If you’re in your 30s and older, do I sense at least a piece in red in your wardrobe? And most probably you’re going to wear it on the first day of CNY. Am I right?

Bride Wars

Gosh, violence has all but taken over this planet. Now, even for the supposedly happiest and most beautiful occasion in our lives (at least so for girls!) has failed to duck the attacks and ambushes in the likes of secretive sabotages and outright competition to see who is the best bride of the day.

With full knowledge of every wimp and fancy, likes and dislikes, secret histories and dreamy futures of each other, Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) make use of every singe ounce of secrets they knew about each other since childhood days to their own advantage when a turn of events causes the unthinkable to happen – their wedding fall on the same date, same place and same time.

There are two things to aim at in life; first to get what you want, and after that to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind has achieved the second.

How can I forget to make this announcement earlier? Well, better late than never, right?

So, my dear friends, let me proudly announce (er-hem!) to you that my book that dishes out 69 tips on how to create and maintain a loving and lasting relationship with your loved one, The 69 Love Notes – Secrets To A Loving And Lasting Relationship has now been translated to Thai and officially released in Thailand towards the end of 2008!

Less Is More

Finally, I got around to packing clearing my wardrobe. After two and a half loads (loosely packed) of clothes being taken out, my wardrobe lost considerable weight.

Now I have lesser clothes, and the funny phenomenon occurred.

The new-found space gives me room to organise all the bits and pieces. And it suddenly became very apparent of how much choices (limited is a better word actually) I have now. Because there are only that many choices, suddenly I have more to wear! Being forced to choose from what’s left saved me time that I didn’t expected.

Up Your Service!

Service! Service! Service!

It’s either you really, truly have it, or you claim that you have it. There are no two ways about it, and guess what, the consumer will know.

I was at LG Customer Service at Vivocity the other day (yes, within a week of using my brand new LG Renoir, I was already experiencing problems that required me to pay that place a visit!) and this conversation took place right behind me.

The lady sitting behind me waiting for her number to be called was complaining out loud to the sole person at the customer service counter. The other guys were, apparently, sales staff and couldn’t help to relieve the queue waiting time.

Happy 2009!

Before 1 Jan 2009 ends, I’d like to wish all of you my dear friends and readers a Happy New Year!

May you find the courage to pursue your dreams

May you find the love of your life (if you’re still searching!)

(If you’ve found it) May you and your partner be filled with love, joy and peace every day of your life

May you find the purpose in your life

May your days be happy and may you stay healthy every day, every year …

Be blessed. :)
