Ok what can I say? I’m tagged by my dear friend, the guy who’s behind all the fabulous stuff on NLP and life coaching, Alvin to spill my guts out, when I ain’t in a drunken stupor.

Here’s what you’re gonna find out about me. Things you didn’t know before until now.

You’ve got two choices. One is to spread the word around on your new found secrets (I’ll hunt you down I promise!) or to pretend a sudden seizure of amnesia for 10 seconds.

1. I love writing since young

I even dreamt of becoming a novelist, and this dream was carried on all the way to my adult days.

When I was in primary school, the weekend newspapers will carry essays written by students like myself. So I decided to do likewise and started submitting essays to the newspaper, hoping and praying to be selected. Hey, I’m just a kid desperately wanting to make some extra pennies for pocket money! Alas, my essay didn’t appear from week to week.

Curse those editors, I swore under my breath. Ok, that was a rash move I admit, but I’m still a kid then!

Although my dreams were dashed, but thankfully hope still remains…

2. Like Alvin, but better!

I was in St Johns Ambulance Brigade too! My epiphany came not when I was under the scorching sun, hey, I got it 1 year earlier than you friend!

2 years after I practically sold my entire life besides time-spent-in-class-by-mandate to this ECA, and having won a National Footdrill Competiton under my belt, I handed in my resignation letter. It wasn’t a moment of folly or rashness, but well thought out. Missed those days training endlessly for the competition while my peers were out gallivanting during the entire month of school holdiay though.

3. I love to sing

But I can’t say my passion equates my competency though haha ;) In some good days (or nights?) I can reach those high notes that even I am impressed with myself. On other days, well…

I always console myself that man is not perfect, and I didn’t receive any vocals training. Anything to make myself feel good heh heh

4. I’m a sucker for variety

That’s why I can’t make up my mind to just wear suits for work, or a certain colour, or to always order the same food whenever I patronise the same restaurant.

Makes it pretty hard for people around me to guess my mind haha, cos I’ll eat what my mood dictates! Which also means I can be very easy-going most of the time as well. 

5. I used to wear glasses

So thick that you can see many circles if you peer into my glasses, until I went for my lasik operation almost 6 years ago! Upon research, I realised that with the degree of my myopic and astigmatism, I was labelled as “visually handicapped” in medical terms. Gosh! Did I look nerdy? No way, how can that be!

Not if I refuse to admit.
