A Gift To A Most Important Person

When my books were first delieverd to me, I gave my first copy to someone who is very dear to me. Same goes for the second copy, and the third.

It was only two weeks ago that I realised I had forgotten someone very important. For without this person, the book wouldn’t be born.

This isn’t and shouldn’t be such an alarming discovery, for I should know better to give the first copy to this person. How could I forget?

On retrospect, I am sure that I’m not the only one found guilty of this. All around me I can find someone like me, who tend to forget to thank the person who deserve the credit, as we whipped up the list of names whom we want to express our gratitude. But nowhere can we find this person’s name there.

I hope you will learn from my lesson, and not to make such a mistake. I’m glad I caught myself in the nick of time, and I still have a chance to amend for it. But we all know that such a chance doesn’t always present itself when you wish for it, agree?

Today, I presented one copy of my virgin piece of work The 69 Love Notes – Secrets To A Loving And Lasting Relationship to this person – someone who had relentlessly perservered in writing, who believed in her passion furiously and who has a big dream to see it coming true.

I lovingly autographed it, with a short, sweet and uplifting love note and gave it to her. That person is none other than – me.

I’d like to keep a copy of every book I had written, isn’t it? You would like to keep a copy of your achievement, to let the memory retain in a physical form, not just the intangible and untouchable memories, laughter, joy and pain, right?

Remember this golden principle. Love thyself well, and you will receive love.

Giving yourself the gift of your achievements is a satisfaction that is great beyond words. Do it today, and enjoy that unspeakable feeling of enjoyment now.

Out of curiosity, I wondered if reading your own writings makes you feel any different. Sometimes when I read through my past blogs, it gives me different feelings from that when I am penning it down. The feel is constantly changing.

But yea, without you, there’s no book to talk about. From who else but Kloudiia.

I’m giving this book to an important person in my life right now- my boyfriend. It’s because he needs the book and we can both read it together and learn more about love together.

Congratulations on getting your book published Kloudiia!

I was so surprised when I saw a book with a familiar face in Kino, and then I saw the author’s name and realized it’s you ;)

Ed, yeah it can be quite weird at times reading what you’ve wrote. At times when I did that, I’d go “Oh, did I write this!!!” you know, a mixture of surprise, amazement, wonder.

But I guess not as weird as watching oneself on TV haha

Hey Kang, so you can recognise me ya.. that shows the cover is working haha… so did you get a copy for yourself too?

Wow Mandy, I’m sure your bf will like the book too, as there are some secrets that are written to help the women understand men better and vice versa. Enjoy the time snuggling at your couch reading this book and making your relationship more loving then.

    Thanks Mandy for your support!
