Happy 2011!

2011 is a special year, because it’s the first year of the second decade in this new millenia, in this 21st century. We’re going to create history again for this new era, and I’m glad that I’m part of it.

To start with, let me give you a toast to all things good for this year.

If you have been partying over the night, I suppose you’ve gotten out of bed at this hour? Well, what’s the first thought that came to your mind when you opened your eyes?

This came to mine: ‘It’s 2011! It’s a new year! I’m going to pray.’

Yep, and that was the first thing I did when I woke up today. I prayed to the Lord, thanked Him for all that He has blessed me with, for being there for me and with me in times when I needed Him. I read the Bible, and then I started my day!

Of course, the next person whom I expressed my love was my dear hubby

I had flu a week before Christmas, and I prayed hard that I could recover by then so I could celebrate freely. Well, I kind of did, though the bug didn’t seem to vanish completely. The virus kind of hung around, and so I hovered between the lines of recovery and getting hit again for the last week. I prayed hard again, as I really wanted to start a new year with good health! Thank God I did
