If there is an icon that can represent you, what would that be?

A star? A heart? A bible? An ear? A candle? A palm? An angel?

Well, these are but some of the various symbols that were drawn on our Mystagogy last night. Another one of the very meaningful sessions conducted by Sister Mel, and also the last.

I remembered we did an exercise in POE to discover your symbol. It can be anything, ranging from an icon, to words, or even a certain sort of feeling that can be used to describe in pictorial form what your mission and purpose in life is.

SNAG - Sensitive New Age Guy.

Has this acronym taken on a completely new defintion of late? Or does it still refer to the bunch of sensitive new age guys who offer tissue papers to the ladies on a date, open the car doors for her, speak to her in a special soft tone and pre-empt her needs even before she voices them out and woo her sincerely, relentlessly and romantically?

Well, this poll certainly can’t find out that much. But what we can demystify is the last part - do guys in this modern era still like to do the chasing, or are they starting to enjoy a lady’s pro-activeness in asking them out for a date?

I’ve tested it during my customisation, that explains why even more hours of sleep had to be sacrificed, for every change I made, I had to check it both on IE, and FF.

This puppy love is not puppy love. ;p (ok, pun intended, if you catch it)

Look at that. Isn’t that puppy simply lovely! Sooo cute!! Irresistible that you want to hug and cuddle it? Oh, I am literally pulling myself away from my notebook to prevent some drastic actions that would categorise me as mad (like kissing my screen like mad???!!!). Ha ha..

Why do puppies so automatically garner affections from one when all it does is simply looking at you with nothing but adoration in its eyes and a never tiring waging tail? That’s where the secret lies, isn’t it?

YZ forwarded me an extremely meaningful email (I ripped the title into this post ha!) which came in so very timely when I was planning to write on a similar topic, after I was struck by what a catechist Winston said during our dismissal session yesterday. (Note: the dismissal is a compulsory weekly routine for all catechumens undergoing RCIA. All of us will attend the mass, and after the Father has done with the homily, all catechumens will be dismissed to reflect on what has been preached. This is also when we share our personal experiences in the group and find out more about this faith)
