When a happy wife marries a romantic husband…

Will romantic sparks fly, or? Watch out for the last episode of Happy Wife, Lucky Man on Channel 8, 8.30pm today.

Of course, another little teeny bonus bit is – my sister and I will be featured in this episode too!

Happy watching! :)

Ok, finally managed to install and fix most of the items for this the theme. As you can see, it isn’t working too well yet. The sidebars are pushed downwards (still figuring out why!!) and the layout still needs more tweaking.

But, this shall do for the time being, while I look for another better theme to come along.

Thanks for coming back to my blog. Appreciate your presence :)

My 6-year-old nephew was enjoying himself with the spread of scrumptious food in front of him, when joy turned into a mini crisis. His sudden cries shook our table and all of us turned our heads to see him crumbling into a pool of tears, when one second before he was still happily tucking into his food.

He had accidentally bitten on the steel fork which poked into his gum. Incidentally, the tooth that was affected was already shaking and threatening to come out since that morning – double whammy!

My sister and I are honoured to be the programme consultants for this new variety show debutting tomorrow at Channel 8, 8.30pm.

Spanning 7 episodes, with each featuring a husband with a different character, watch how Michelle Chong, the happy wife, creates a home with warmth and love.

Peppered with inspiring quotes and funny anecdotes, relax and unwind for 30 minutes with your spouse, partner or just your loved ones over this new variety, Happy Wife, Lucky Man.

Enjoy the show!

My account was hacked.

Got suspended.

Whatever “insanity” you see now is temporary.

Please bear with me as I continue to fix it.

See ya around! :)

Since this was JJ’s wish to spread some rumours about him and his guest singer, Chrstine Fan Wei Qi, more fondly known as Fan Fan, then his wish shall be my command!

So, with the help of his little scheme of a finger-guessing game, JJ planted a kiss on Fan Fan’s right cheek, under the public scrutiny of all the ‘rumour-loving’ media, the ever-prying camera and with the blessings of his 10,000-strong screaming fans in Singapore indoor Stadium. Well, I, er, happen to be one of the 10,000.

[Post Script: Due to a reader's question, it has come to my attention that not everyone might know Fan Fan is dating another celebrity nicknamed "Hei Ren" and the kiss was just a playful act. Nothing more, okay?]

The next time when you see a rodent and you instantly assume it’s a mouse, you should start to smell a rat.

If you’re confused, A Tale of Despereaux will sort it out for you. No two mice, er, ways about it!

Despereaux (Matthew Broderick) the mouse is really, really cute. So cute that you have to find it cute – not ugly but adorable but cute and adorable – regardless of your race, language or religion.

“I take that as a hopeful sign,” Harvey says as Kate rejects an incoming call on her mobile. “If only you can give me a wider smile…” he continues teasing her.

Kate (Emma Thompson) breaks out into a wider smile.

That is a scene where the despondent Harvey Shine (Dustin Hoffman) meets Kate Walker, who is finding solace in her own company and a book, for the second time in a bar at the airport in the film Last Chance Harvey

Harvey tries to spin off a conversation between them while Kate seems only interested in finishing her novel and not to have anything to do with this stranger.

Today’s TODAY carried this news: All in the name of love. In a nutshell, the news says there are 8 Singaporeans who have been “recruited by West African syndicates to smuggle drugs”.

These eight have been lured with “promises of love and friendship” and “free holidays and cash payments”.

My knee-jerk response to this news was: “How could this happen? Don’t they think at all?”

Immediately after I said that, I knew I had made a judgment, and a bad one at that. Of course that can happen. Anything can happen when we allow our emotions to rule our heads! And don’t we find ourselves guilty of this so many times in our lives?

Although it wasn’t a revelation, still, when it happened, I couldn’t help but be amused by it.

I went for a meeting this afternoon. Among the atendees were three ladies, me included, and three gentlemen.

This was what happened:

When the guys saw me, only one said: “I like your hair.”

Compare this to the girls’ reaction when they saw me with my short hairdo: “Kloudiia, you cut your hair!”

“Yes, I did.”

“Nice! I like it.”

“Thanks!”
