In this 2nd episode of this Love Belief series, I would like to challenge this belief. Let’s take a look.
First, the limiting belief:
“No one will accept a divorcee, with kid“
Let’s first look at why does this belief comes about. What are the harsh facts in life that seem to support this and why is this hampering you from getting what your real intention is - to love and be loved again.
Okay, this retreat has got its ups and downs. I mean, times when I really enjoyed myself, and times when I was struggling to keep my eyes open!
The ice-breaking game was real fun, first time I ever played such a game. And I must say it really has the effect to let you know more friends within that time period when the game was played. Hmm, kudos to the youths who thought of this idea!
Now is the time for me to pen down my thoughts on what I feel I have gained the most from this spiritual vacation.
I was inspired by a friend (if you are reading this now, you know who you are ;))Â to write on this new series on Love Beliefs. In NLP, we believe that everyone has the same neurology. The reason why certain people succeed in life while others don’t is not because they have a unique set of neurons, but because of the beliefs they held and the actions they took. That is what sets them apart.
I’m still not perked up yet to blog about what went on over the weekend. So while I sort out my thoughts and recharge my energy, here is a little something to share. If you do not know, have not learnt, can’t memorise what to pray after lunch, fret not. For this is the latest version you can use as reference to. Or you could rip the whole thing off, by all means

Oh wow, I am going for my first retreat as part of our RCIA program. Heard that this wasn’t part of the curriculum until they started it last year and found the result to be very encouraging. Hence history repeats itself this year.
It will be a 2-day retreat. What do we do there? Beats me, really. But I promise I’ll share my learnings and reflections here when I’m back next week.
Oh what a busy weekend it will be, with the Patterns of Excellence beginning last night and running through to Sunday, my retreat coming in between, its going to be another fruitful and meaningful 3 days for me.
Freedom, what a big word. Yes it is big, because it encompasses almost every wish and need a human wants and hankers in his/her life.
Don’t we all like to have the freedom to do what we want? Be free to pursue our dreams? Choose any discipline that most interests us without having to consider other practical factors? Date any men or women whom we fancy? Travel to any country our heart is telling us to? Wear any clothes you feel like? Carry any hairstyle you wish to?
