Ending 2006. Welcoming 2007 From Kloudiia Tay

31 December 2006

It takes sixty seconds to make up one minute. Another sixty minutes to make up an hour.

Imagine how many hours have passed before one year is over. That’s 8,760 hours my dear friends.

What have you done over these 8,760 hours? How many of these were spent on sleeping? Day dreaming? Working? Having fun? Accomplishing goals? Helping others? Contributing to the society? Loving others? Being loved? Exercising? Improving yourself?

2006I have done all of those in 2006. This has been a fruitful as well as frightening year for me. I’ve discovered many things about myself, some good some bad that needed to be improved.

In addition to those discoveries, I’ve attained certain milestones in my life too. I really can’t put all these in words, neither to go into too much details, as it involved some other people whose privacy I have to maintain. What I can reveal are these:

Starting this blog is really a good stepping point for my foray into writing. I knew I’ve always like to write, but to actually spill bits and pieces of my life onto this expanse virtual world is a pretty scary thing I’ve ventured into. Friends of mine who knew me for donkey years are aware that I’m a very private person. So to me, this is really a milestone.

The reason why I’m doing this is because of the greater need and want to use my stories, experiences and observations to reach out to more people, who could be once like me searching and wondering if I’m ever going to love and be loved, if I’ll ever have a loving and good relationship and if I’m going to be able to change my life after all!

This in comparison to my need for privacy seems to be far more important. So here I am, with this blog.

I’ve started practising Intention-Manifestation, this amazing concept and principle. I’ve tasted some bits of reward, though the full-blown visualisation hasn’t turned into reality yet. But I believe I’m at the infancy stage of the learning curve, so it’s a matter of time that I get to where I want to be, with the support, faith and blessings from you of course. :)

I haven’t been exercising much, or paying more attention on my health, which I know I should. This trip to Guangzhou has “enlightened” me in some ways that I really should live more healthily.

My acquaintance with God has changed me in many ways too. One of my major turning points in life is going to happen four months from now in April 2007 when I’m going to be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Oh, am I looking forward to this night!

This faith has greatly enhanced my spirituality as well as my perspectives on love. It not only altered my way of handling relationship issues, it has also opened my eyes, mind and heart to many things that I used to neglect or never really taken notice of.  I am very grateful for this.

2007 is another frightening year to me. Frightening because I believe I will be doing many “firsts”. How will these “firsts” turn out I don’t know, and I won’t know until and unless I take action. At the same time, I am feeling real excited too, because these challenges will surely help me grow better and stronger as a person, which I am sure will help me to contribute more for you – my friends, readers and coaching clients.

2007 has much for me to look forward to. I’m sure the same goes to you. Remember that life is what you make of it.

When the clock strikes at 1200 am, it’s the beginning of a new year. Leave the past where it should be. Begin a new year with refresehed vigour, energy, stronger beliefs and more enriched life experiences you’ve accumulated in the last year.

If you have any resolutions, make them specific, achievable and beneficial, and make them only for 2007!

Here’s wishing you a prosperous, happy, joyful, loving, healthy and pretty 2007 in advance!

2007

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES!

Sincerely, warmly, happily

P.S Wow, as I’m writing this there’s a public party going on at the estate where I’m living in.  Can’t escape from happy vibes, can we? :D
