LOVE, Kloudiia

As 2007 started on a vibrant note (well we know that the stocks markets had some very bullish moments since New Years Day), I’m equally excited that my blog has turned one year old on this day - 7 January 2007!

On this same day exactly a year ago, a lady finally stopped procrastinating and went to blogger.com and started writing this post. A month later she moved to her own domain name – http://www.kloudiia.com/ and since then started her journey in blogging.

How is the report card looking? Yes, finally a time for me to brag a little over what I’ve achieved for this whole year. Bear with me please, will you?

Bragging 1: Content 

A year later, this site is richer by 406 posts and 366 comments (as I’m writing this now). Add the digits 406 up and we get a perfect 10! Cool, now I’ll take this as a good sign that better things are going to come this year!

I’ve done my best not to make this site into one that strives to empower and inspire all my readers with love. I hope you find the results pleasing so far.

Many times while writing those posts, I was very much engrossed and in touch with my feelings about the subject matter too. Maybe you could get some hints of my emotions in between the sentences, maybe you missed them. Nevertheless, that’s not the focus.

All the content in this blog are original and they come from my experience, observation, thoughts, friends’ and readers’ stories and experience. If you notice, I’ve also added pictures and photographs in my posts. Whether they really help in bringing out the essence of my message or they are just eye candies doesn’t matter. What matters is – it’s not just text.

Hey I’m still struggling with Adobe Photoshop, so every photo that has been modified means headaches and pain to me. But I know it’s worth it.

Bragging 2: Readership

I am extremely grateful that my readership has jumped more than 500% since the day I started this site. I know it is by no accident that I’ve came this far, at the same time I also know too well it’s only because of your support that this site continues to do well and will be increasingly better.

Bragging 3: Frequency

From periodic posting to daily posting, I’ve upped my commitment and time in this site. Finding new and good content isn’t easy at times. Like many other bloggers, I face the inevitable mental blocks too. When that happens, in the process of getting ouf of the trench I am almost always awed with new findings and knowledge that I was previously blind to.

So, making this commitment has benefitted me in many ways too! The extra hours put in are definitely rewarding.
