Kloudiia Tay On The New Paper Tomorrow! Yeah!
06 Jan 2007
Hey hey, yes my friends, you will get to see me on the papers tomorrow.
All thanks to Mr KeropokMan who left his smoochie here, if not I wouldn’t have known this news so fast, Thanks KeropokMan!
Tomorrow happens to be a special day too. Look out for my 7 January 2007 entry and you’ll know what I mean.
Alright, let’s talk a bit more on this interview shall we?
I was being interviewed by this feisty journalist Cara who seemed to have brought along a load of sunshine when she arrived ha! Really, I can feel the energy from her when we met.
The interview was very nice and casual. I felt as if we were chatting rather than I was being interviewed. Maybe because Cara was very relaxed and chatty. Or maybe because we two had chemistry? haha
Though this was the first media interview after we closed down Two To Tango, strangely I didn’t feel as nervous as I did at my very first one done by TODAY. As I’m writing this, images of my first TV appearance on Channel NewsAsia’s Prime Time Morning live interview are playing in my mnd. Can you imagine how many deep breaths I had to take to calm myself down and to relax before I went live on national TV?
What a nerve-wrecking yet adrenaline-pumping episode in my life. We (me and my sister) had lots of fun though. I guess if I were to do it again, I should be much better this time ha!
Oh I’ve sidetracked. Back to this interview with The New Paper.
After a good one-hour session of chatting which revolved around my work, passion and purpose of becoming a Love Coach, writing a book and blogging, and a few peeks into my private life, it’s time for photoshooting!
The photographer Ishak came and started giving us instructions on where to sit and how to pose as he visualised the photos in his mind as part of his art-direction work.
The most embarassing moment probably came when he wanted to take a shoot of me standing there, holding my notebook (hey, free advertisement for Sony VAIO!) amongst a busy walking crowd. So we have to shoot at an opportune time. Which means a time when there are indeed many people walking past me.
So there I was. Standing there, freezing my smile, my stance, my body, my facial expression just for that perfect shot. Apparently he used a method which required me to freeze so that he can capture the scene. All this while, some curious souls keep turning round and staring at me. Luckily I can only look at the camera and nowhere else, otherwise I would have blushed!
Well, overall a very happy and enjoyable experience. Wonder how the story will turn out? Hmm…

If you are to post any scanned article from the newspaper, remember to take it down after 24hours. Dont let those copyright guys jump on you with a ‘fine’.
We experienced it before when Straits Times, Digital Life interviewed us at bak2u.com and very quickly drop us a letter that we posted it more than 24hrs. So now, either we buy the rights for 12mths or we simply dont post it up.
