Love Advice: “My Science Teacher Likes My Mom!” & “I’m In Love With My Friend’s Elder Sis!”
16 May 2007
“Kloudiia
This male science teacher seems to like my mother. The only problem is my teacher and my mother are constantly arguing . I would like to know do you think the teacher and mom will get to get other?” - I
Dear I
This is a very interesting question. Now why don’t you ask your mom how she feel towards your science teacher? Then elicit an answer from your teacher as well.
Is there any reason why you can’t do this? Do you want them to have a chance to be together?
Are they arguing about petty things, or issues concerning you and your studies?
I won’t know if they have feelings for each other or they are genuinely at loggerheads. You are probably the only one holding the key to the chest that contains the answer!
Good luck searching. If you have other issues regarding having a man into you and your mom’s life, you are very welcome to drop me a mail again or to take up our love coaching program.
Cheers!

“Hi Kloudiia!
I am 21 years old this year and I met a 23-year-old girl who is my friend’s elder sister. We have met several times before and everytime she sees me she’s like so excited. I’m not sure though if she does that to everyone. As we meet more and more times, I started to like her.
Now I’ve talked to her over MSN messenger for a couple of weeks. Everytime she’s online, I would jump at the opportunity to talk to her. My conversation with her is quite slow as it goes on; she replies in like 3-5 minutes towards the end. She always like to do the disappearing act – stay quiet for 10 mins and suddenly just tell me she has to go. I don’t know if this is a bad sign, but she asked me to be her god brother. At some occassions I asked her to save it and give her brotherly love to her real brothers (she has 2 btw, who are my friends).
According to her brother, my friend, she never had a boyfriend but tons of suitors in the past, and the reason why she hasn’t a BF yet is because their parents are very strict on them. I also happen to know her mother and she knows me. In fact, her mother knows all her children’s friends. He tells me that she’s a girl with very low self-esteem but also very childish at times. She’s going to do fine arts at NAFA starting from July.
So Kloudiia, my question is how do you think is my progress? How do you think I should ask her out? And how do you think I can make her attracted to me emotionally; I’m not worrying about physically cos I know women are more turned on by emotions. How can I show my maturity(I’m 100% sure that I am mentally more mature than her) despite our age gap?
As you can see I’m a total noob on dating! Tell you an embarassing truth – this is the first time I’ve fall for a girl without a boyfriend. Sad life right?
Thanks and regards, KH” - KH
Dear KH
It’s not embarassing at all KH! You’re only 21 years old, so it’s a very good time to start dating.
Now, from your email, I can sense that you are sure of your feelings for her. Then what is stopping you from telling her straight? Are you worried that she will reject you because of her “low self-esteem” as what her mother claims, or the age difference?
You may take some comfort in knowing that dating an older woman now is getting much more common. It’s a trend that looks set to become part of our culture, hence if you are mentally more mature than her, or at least on par, then the age difference shouldn’t give her a big bullet to reject your advances.
When she asked you to be her godbrother, what was your response like? My guess is it’s either she’s using this to test if you’re attracted to her, or she really is hinting to you that you’re like a brother to her.
So if she were to bring it up again, why don’t you ask her will she be genuinely happy if you were to say yes? It would be good to ask her in person, as her response can be the biggest clue to her heart. Msn will never let you glimpse into her internal world.
Be brave. If you really are more mature than her, than display it to her.
And one of the best ways to make her attracted to you, non-physically, is to impress her with your intelligence. You sounded like one, so show her what you’ve got KH!
Hope to hear your progress, ok?
