A famed wedding photographer told me the 3 secret ingredients for a marriage to last.

Those were the 3 words he mouthed: Love. Lust. Passion

I beg to differ.

A marriage may not need all 3 of them to last, but you certainly require them to have a happy, loving and meaningful relationship!

Love is what ensures that you still see your partner with the warm fuzzy feeling even when he/she has become more and more predictable with his/her behaviour and words.

Lust means you still can’t keep your eyes and hands off each other. This is the result of lasting attraction for each other, which is definitely imperative!

Passion! Whatever we do, we need to do it with passion, so that we can feel all the senses fully, so that our cells can be wholly charged up. What more with your marriage partner?

In an extension of this theory, we can always, and we should add these 3 ingredients into our soup of life! So that we may cook up a dish full of colour, and tastes sumptuous.

Love who you are, have a strong desire and lust for your goals, and lastly act with huge amount of passion. Only then can we say we haven’t live in vain, wouldn’t you agree?
