My Trip To Bali

I just came back from a 4D3N trip to Bali. Stuart and I stayed at this villa called the Uma Sapna.

Prior to departing for this place, I was so excited for days. They say one shouldn’t get too excited, or something disappointing may happen. Guess my zeal and enthusiasm raised my temperature quite a bit and gave me a sore throat on the 2nd day of the trip. :(

Despite that, the trip was overall a pretty relaxing one. Both of us had lots of time to just sleep, eat, chill out, read a book, watch a DVD (we watched heaps!) and sleep again ha! The package I got includes a 2 hour spa service for both of us, so we indulged in some good ole’ Javanese massage and I had a scrub.

The service provided by this villa was indeed admirable, but there were basically no other facilities available. We need to take a taxi to go to the beach, and the nearest restaurant is 15 minutes walk away. If we want to venture further, we had to take a cab. But as our package covers our breakfast, one dinner and a lunch, our tummies were kept full and satisfied most of the time without having to seek for food.

I’m glad this time I didn’t come home with mosquito bites all over, unlike the previous trips to Indonesia. But the man wasn’t as lucky as me though – he got a bad sunburn on his shoulders and arms ha!

If you want to see the photos, I’ve uploaded them onto Facebook. Click here to view them!
