Because my mum is making her debut appearance! More on this later…

As CNY nears the corner and we can almost hear the rattle of those cutesy rats, it’s the time now to do one of the most important thing as part of the CNY preparation!

Yeah, for those of you who are like me (CNY goodie lover), it’s time to stock in on the new year goodies!

Pineapple tarts, Kueh Ban Kit, Shrimp Rolls, Love Letters,  Raisin Oat Cookies, Almond Cookies, Coffee Cookies, Green Pea Cookies etc. Yes, coffee and green pea cookies are two new flavours. The latter is my top favourite this year! Not a green pea lover myself, when I bite into the cookie and the full aroma and fragrant of those peas follow with each chew, I was sweetly surprised by such a tasty snack! Shrimp Rolls follow closely as #2 on my favourite list.

Of course, I wasted no time and bought one to savour at home.   Well, the fact that I’m getting those goodies at cost price is a bonus for me to buy more!

Lest you think I’m pulling some strings, I’m not! The truth is, my mum is selling all these goodies for the coming festive season, notably the most important occasion for all Chinese.

So, this is why there is one more reason to buy this year. My mum has cajoled my sister to join her in this business. Well, as part of the family, how can I not chip in?

Standing by the stall and peddle goods isn’t my forte. But I still went to help as and when. And I actually felt that it is quite fun, because we’re doing something together as a family!

Then again, I’m no where compared to my mum in her selling skills. So, I’ve decided to use another route to help her bring in some business. Yes, my dear friends and readers, if you are reading this, would you like to order some really delicious and yummy HOME-MADE GOODIES from me?

All items are priced very reasonably at only $10-$15. I tasted the cookies, and they’re really yummy. Very value for money! Great for personal enjoyment and for gifts! (Already given some to my mother-in-law, to her delight! *wink*)
