SMS – Sent Wrong, Done Right
03 Apr 2006
This morning IÂ received an sms. I liked the content, because it is intelligible and purposeful. It contained a quote like this:
You are what you are and where you are because of what’s gone into your mind. You can change what you are and where you are by changing what goes into your mind.
Isn’t this exactly what we learnt in NLP about the Power of our Mind, our Beliefs and our Words! If you feed your mind with constant garbage, then you will get garbage. BUT, if you nourish and develop your mind with definite empowering, positive and motivating language, then you will get empowered, positive and motivated. AND, if you believe strongly in what you feed yourself with, you will get two times the results of your brain food intake.
Simply by dishing the right type of food to your brain, will produce you the resullts you want. How much more easy can this get? Yet, there are millions of people out there who are still stuffing their brains with junk. If only your brain can talk, what would it say to YOU, the giver, who have the priviledge of choice?
For your BRAIN, the receiver, who have no priviledge of choice, can only absorb what you fill. Would it tell you to please provide more nutrients or would it tell you to cram it with more rubbish?
Just some food for thought for the day -Â To have Sense, or to have Mess?
P.S Oh ya, I seem to have forgotten to explain why I titled this post this way. Because, this sms was sent wrongly to me, ha! But, I thank her for her little error, probably due to her butter fingers or something (oops! just a little joke), that allowed for this little enrichment in me today. Hmm, things happen for a reason.

Of course what goes into the mind and out of it…and out again is just a piece of what gets you where you are and where you wanna go.
The ACTION or lack thereof that we take (as a result of our belief and value filters, aka that-which-decides-what-goes-into-n-out-of-the-mind), will determine the actual results.
Oh…I responded to this post coz I received SMSes that are never meant for me ever:
“Thanks for the good time, you were great…had to leave coz i have an early day”
and the most outrageous one:
“You are the nicest person I know!!”
Sigh…oh well.
