If there is a price tag for your soul, how much would that be? My friend just told me someone sold his soul for more than US$ 1 million on eBay! This is insanity.

How about this? An innocence smiling happy soul of a girl? How much is this worth?

He’s definitely not alone. Just do a search on eBay and you’ll find hordes of souls on auction.

Maybe the first guy just wanted to make a quick fortune and came up with that insane idea. He’s got nothing to lose, but more than a million bucks to earn. Wonder which cash-rich millionnaire bought that soul, and wonder what he is going to do with it. 

Now imagine if you have just sold your soul away. You are $x richer wealthier, in monetary terms. But you are infinite times $x poorer, in spiritual and emotional terms. Will you still live your life as if nothing’s changed (strictly speaking, truly nothing has been changed. Your “soul” still remains intact in your body), or will your consciousness be so stuck in the subjective reality that your soul is no longer your proprietory asset and start walking around with a hole in your heart, void of emotions, void of love, void of soul?

Wouldn’t that make you a lifeless being, then? Hmm, interesting indeed.
