The Three Teenage “Stooges”
18 Nov 2006
This happened on a MRT ride.
The three girls boarded the train from the same station as me. In fact, two were sitting next to me while one was standing. You can’t miss them. Similarly, you can’t help to notice them too.
They weren’t talking at the top of their voices but they are getting my attention by what they wore. All wore the same top, two same colour. Two wore miniskirts with the same shoes. The other wore a pair of shorts. Three had too similar hairstyles you just can’t pass it over not suspecting they went to the same hairstylist.

This is teenage years! I remember my friends used to call each other doing an advance check on what each other will be wearing. We wear the same style, but with different tops. It’s like making a statement.
What else happened during our teenage years? Lots and lots of teasing, especially on who is going after who, like the cute dude from Science class gave the gal from Accounts class a big teddy bear on Valentine’s Day, and she looked like a nerd! Ok, I made that up. But besides the occasional headache from the ad-hoc quizzes, semester tests and exams, boy-girl relationships was always the main topic hogging headlines.
We can’t even escape from puppy love when we were merely teens. How can we escape the joy and crunch that love brings?
Just a short post on the teenage years.
Do you have any wonderful memories of your teenage years? Care to drop a smoochie and share?

But as you get older, you call your friend to check what they wearing the next day, and make sure you don’t wear something similar.

My girl friend and I used to hold hands when we go shopping and we wore the earrings. I don’t think I’ll do that NOW !
