The Truth Behind “Biblical Entries”

During the last Internet Marketing Subscribers Night on 24 July, while chatting away Andrew commented on my blog. He said recently my posts are getting biblical. I raised my eyebrow in response to that, before asking him to reaffirm what he just said. Very soon though, after hearing my reply, he agreed too that, yes, he didn’t quite complete his sentence.

What he actually mean to tell me is this – I have been making references to life through words of God and the Bible, more frequently.

What I actually replied him is this …

My posts aren’t about religion. That’s for sure. But, it is also true that I have mentioned the word “God” not less than 5 times, which gives him the justification to make such a comment. The whole point is, I do not deny that I get inspirations on topics to blog about each time I had my RCIA home session, and when I read the Bible. Maybe because the core of our teaching is Love. Which is totally congruent in the world of dating affairs, isn’t it so?

Singapore is a multi-racial multi-relgion country. I am proud of this, because despite of our differences in race, language and religion, we have been living in harmony for the past 40 decades since we gained independence. Therefore, regardless of what religion you may have, you can nonetheless refer my philosophies, reflections and musings on love, life and relationships to your faith, because I believe it gives you the spiritual direction.

Even if you are an atheist, there will be something that you subscribe to, a set of beliefs, values, perspectives on life, or, maybe, Scientology which forms the guidelines and principles you adhere to.

Make reference to this set of beliefs and values, and you will be able to read my posts in such a way where the underlying meaning doesn’t seem so vague anymore, if it wasn’t so apparent to begin with.

Words that make a difference to me surely will make a difference to some others, whether or not we share the same faith, and regardless of where it came from.
