What’s Your Symbol Meme?

If there is an icon that can represent you, what would that be?
A star? A heart? A bible? An ear? A candle? A palm? An angel?
Well, these are but some of the various symbols that were drawn on our Mystagogy last night. Another one of the very meaningful sessions conducted by Sister Mel, and also the last.
I remembered we did an exercise in POE to discover your symbol. It can be anything, ranging from an icon, to words, or even a certain sort of feeling that can be used to describe in pictorial form what your mission and purpose in life is.
Mine is a star. Was, has been, and still is, a star. One that shines light on people. One that inspires.
After all of us were asked to draw our symbol, we had to share what it represents and how that translates to our purpose in life and/or contribution to the church and the community.
It was kind of cool to listen to all of the “little short stories” behind those symbols. While some were of entertainment value (especially my dad’s I have to admit), there were many that were not short of amazement and wonder.
Have you ever thought if there is an icon that can represent you, what would that be? If you haven’t know yet, why not take some time to discover that? Who knows, it can really be astonishing! I’ve also noticed that symbols do evolve. They may have added colour, or a richer texture to it as time passes, as you accumulate more accolades in your bag of achievements.

The one in the yellow circle belongs to my sister. A heart with stars revolving around which represent “Let healing hearts shine”.
Yeah, she’s the healer.
I’m so tempted to create a meme, and tag other bloggers to see what their symbols are. Shall we?
Of course, since I’m the originator, I won’t know if this meme will survive. But as with my motto, I never know until I test it out. So testing it out here I am!

Hey Kloudiia,
mine is the ancient days shield with a lion in the centre, and there’s a sword behind the centre.
I was baffled that I drew this out based on autopilot, but hey, tat’s interesting.

Erh, a sword, ancient shield tiger to represent Tofu and monkey? Hmm…. in case anyone doesn’t know, tofu is beancurd. So, you guys make the connection yourself ya, one more of his weird antics ha!
