LOVE, Kloudiia

This, strictly speaking, isn’t supposed to be a joke of the day. But well, why do we need to take life so seriously, right? And it does seem that the person who said this do mean to lighten up the mood of the audience, so I thought I’d just share it with you right here!

Jesus asked Simon Peter “Peter, son of David, do you love me?”

To which Peter answered the Lord “Yes Lord, you know I love you”.

Jesus said “Take care of my lamb”.

Jesus asked Peter the same question three times, to which Peter had the same reply that truly, he loved the Lord.

That was the reading for our mass last week.

In an effort to have a modern testament to that scripture, Father Joe decided to ask some of our parishoners the same question.

Father Joe: “(name of parishioner), do you love me?”

Parishoner: “Father, are you feeling insecure?”

*faint*
