I just came back from Muar, a small state in Malaysia. To me, it looks and feels more like a small town in another state, rather than a state itself.

I’ve been to Muar many times since it’s the hometown of my mum, but this trip I felt rather differently, all because of a wedding.

My cousin got married on 27 December. I didn’t get a chance to speak to her, but from her sister whom I’m pretty close to, I got to know that she feels that she’s the most blissful bride on Earth.

Nice, isn’t it? I mean, how many of us actually feel that we’re wrapped around by this big bubble of happiness on our wedding day? In my case, I know only a couple of couples, that’s all. Most of the time, the newly weds feel excited and happy, but not exactly blissful.

So my sister and I began to do some snooping around.
