Well, I couldn’t resist. After the first installment of spilling the beans on 10 things people do when they are in love, here is another 10 to whet your appetite further.
Again, same rule applies. Read with a punch, though this list would carry slightly more serious connotation than the first episode.
Here you go!
10 More Things You Do When They Are In Love
1. He/she is the one you feel like seeing when you are tired and stressed out.
This same person also happens to be the one you feel like seeing/hugging/talking to most when you are happy or sad, worried or excited. In short, you are his/her destress factor.
2. You start to talk like each other.
What used to be his slang and expression is slowly becoming yours. And vice versa. And then there are the newly-created words found only in your love dictionary and no-where else. Talk about animal language!
3. You couldn’t resist spreading love.
Alright, we know you are in love. Now, spare your poor single friends, will you? Or at least do some homework before you arrange another blind date for them.
4. You find him/her adorable even though your friends would have used a different adjective.
No matter what the others say, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. And you only have eyes for him/her.
5. Your heart aches when he/she is unhappy.
You leap with joy when he/she does. You feel the pain too when he/she is meeting some obstacles and challenges in life. It is as if you two are sharing one heart.
6. You get jealous.
Did I smell some sourness from you? Especially when your loved one is talking to someone whom you find attractive. Of the opposite sex of course.
No, I know you won’t start pulling this person’s hair or punching his nose. After all, you are civilised, aren’t you? Just let your eyes do the job. Your partner will get it.
7. You derive pleasure from giving him/her gifts.
For a special ocassion, and for no special ocassion. Do we need a reason to celebrate love? We don’t, do we? If there must be one, it has to be that smile and sparkle.
8. You still feel “it” when he/she looks at you in a certain way after married for nth number of years.
That gaze still makes your knees go weak and makes you wonder what in the world could take you away from this person in your life. And you know the answer deep in your heart is “Nothing”.
At this point, you start to wander back to the time when you said “I do”.
9. Â You are in a queue with him/her. And you are holding hands.
You held hands when your kid was born. You are still holding hands when you sleep at night. The hands always manage to find each other.
10. You read this fabulous blog on dating, love and relationship.
Then you get your significant other to read as well. Then you both go “Aww…” before wrapping up in each other’s arms. Ok, you have to do this. It’s a must!
Or any other books or information on dating and relationship. Â
