Written notes, one of the possibly longest-lasting fashion in this world. It has evolved since the great olden days when paper and ink were invented. As the industry revolutionised and creativity keeps kicking in, the notes we receive now are no longer just a plain brown paper with words. They come in various fashion, designs and colours. Written notes have been keeping up with the world’s modernisation.

Speaking from personal experience, I realised that a handwritten note works marvellously for both the sender and the recipient. When I am writing the note, I can feel this elation and happiness. It is as if I am giving my loved one a very precious gift – the most sincere words and thoughts from my heart. It is as if I am transferring these feelings onto the note and when he opens it, he’ll absorb that wave of nice emotions.

Well, this was how I felt whenever I receive any form of notes from my boyfriend too. Be it a handwritten one, a short text message or an out-of the-blue email. They never fail to keep me smiling for the whole day. This is the kind of feeling where it is almost costless and yet is so priceless. It is an excellent way of showing your affection.
